What happened
More than two weeks into the season, Yaxel Lendeborg has become the biggest rookie surprise for Golden State, prompting optimism about his fit in the roster's future.
He is averaging over 30 minutes per game and has already drawn praise from Steve Kerr, Steph Curry and Draymond Green after a 37-point outing without Curry and Green.
If his role holds, Lendeborg could keep absorbing meaningful wing minutes and shape Golden State's nightly rotation, though exact usage still depends on who is available.
