NBA Injury Report: Today's Official Statuses for All 30 Teams
Read the status. Check the date. Know what is still pending.
Check report coverage Starting lineupsNo live report is connected. The ticket shows a dated historical sample, not today's absences.

The schedule is ready. The report is pending.
This NBA injury report hub separates scheduled games from verified player availability. The current schedule preview contains three opening-night matchups on October 20, 2026. No game-day report has been attached to those games here, so their Out and Questionable totals remain unreported. A missing total does not mean that every player is healthy or that a team has no absences.
The ticket above is a separate learning example: five selected entries from the March 27, 2026 official report at 6:00 PM ET. Its buttons filter those five entries only. They do not calculate league-wide totals, describe the opening-night slate or trigger a live request. Use the labeled date and source time whenever you compare a status with a scheduled game.
Each matchup below leads back to the opening-night cards. Those cards will remain Pending until the appropriate data is available. This preview deliberately keeps the report date visible instead of placing an old player's status beside an upcoming fixture.

What Today's NBA Injury Report Includes

An injury-report entry belongs to a particular matchup and team. It identifies a player, a participation status and a reason. Those fields answer different questions: which game the row concerns, whose availability is being described and why the player appears on the report. The reason may describe an injury or illness, but a report can also contain administrative availability information. Listing a name does not, by itself, mean that the player is injured.
Out, Doubtful, Questionable, Probable and Available are the five status labels used in the report material. Keep the exact wording when reading a row. Available is not a promise that a player will start; Questionable is not a confirmed absence. A depth-chart position and a predicted starting role are separate information, even when they appear next to the same name on another page.
A Not Yet Submitted team marker means the relevant team information was absent from that file. It must not be translated into zero injuries, an empty bench or a list of healthy starters. On this site, Pending describes missing verified coverage. It is our publication state, not an additional official injury designation.
NBA Injury Report Tonight: Late Updates

A late update is meaningful only when it can be compared with an earlier source for the same matchup. A transition from Questionable to Available differs from a corrected reason field or a newly submitted team report. The planned daily pages will distinguish those events instead of treating every refreshed file as a player-status change. A page refresh alone provides no evidence that anything changed on court.
For NBA injuries tonight, the important clock is the source file's timestamp. The planned coverage window checks reports every 30 minutes from noon Eastern Time through the final scheduled tip-off. That is a publishing plan, not a currently operating service: this preview has no running report feed and does not display a fabricated last-refresh time.
Until a later file is available, an earlier status needs to retain its original time. We will not infer that a Questionable player became Available because the game is approaching, or because the player is absent from an unrelated list. A source failure and a clean report are different states.
Biggest Absences Right Now

No current biggest-absences table is published in this preview. Ranking players as long-term absences would require a current report and a verified history covering the relevant games. Neither a familiar injury headline nor the age of an archived entry is enough to establish how many game days someone has missed this season. We do not turn that gap into a guessed return date.
The historical sample contains Out entries for Tyrese Haliburton and Johnny Furphy. Their presence in the March 27 file explains how an Out badge and a reason field are presented. It is not evidence that either player is Out for an October fixture. The three Available rows in the same sample likewise do not establish anyone's current starting role.
When current coverage is connected, this section will use dated evidence and an explicit comparison period. Until then, the useful action is to inspect the sample's labels, not to read its names as today's injury news.
The Official NBA Injury Report and Our Pages
The official report is the underlying source for player availability; this website is an independent presentation of that information. A daily page should preserve the report date, file time, team, matchup and original status. Formatting a report into a more readable page does not give this site authority to change a designation or declare that a player has been medically cleared.
Our current example uses a selected set of rows, so its counts are explicitly labeled as a sample. Full-day totals would require the complete relevant file and a stated counting rule. For example, a report that covers more than one game date must be matched to the intended slate before its rows are summarized. The number of visible rows is not automatically the number of absences tonight.
If a source is unavailable, the planned fallback is a clearly dated last-known snapshot or an explicit missing-data state. Current coverage is not yet enabled here. The source description and publication notes should always make that limitation visible before you rely on a status.
Injury Report Archive by Month
The archive will organize published daily reports by game date and month. A report for one night should keep its own address, rather than being overwritten with tomorrow's games. A monthly index can then show which days actually have coverage, with source times preserved inside the daily pages.
There are no October daily injury reports published in this preview yet. October 20 is currently a schedule preview, not an available official game-day report. The March sample remains labeled separately on the homepage. Empty archive slots do not mean that the league had no injuries or that a team filed a clean report.
Dated pages preserve schedule coverage and identify missing player sources.

01When does the NBA release the injury report?+
Team reporting deadlines and the league's published files are different steps. Files may change as teams submit or revise information. The source time on a daily page should identify the particular file used, rather than suggest that a page-refresh time is an official release time. The current preview is not polling new files.
02What statuses are used on the NBA injury report?+
Out, Doubtful, Questionable, Probable and Available. A reason accompanies the status, and not every reason is an injury: report material can include assignment or team-availability notes. Keep status and reason together when reading an entry. None of those labels, on its own, confirms that a player will start the game.
03Why is a team marked Not Yet Submitted?+
Its information had not been submitted in the relevant report file. The marker belongs to the team coverage, not to a specific player's health. Wait for a later source instead of interpreting the missing submission as zero absences. Here, the opening-night cards stay Pending because no report is attached to them.
04How often do you update today's NBA injury report?+
The intended cadence is every 30 minutes from noon ET through the final tip-off. That integration is not running in this preview. For now, the ticket is a fixed historical example and its timestamp remains March 27, 2026, 6:00 PM ET. Filtering its rows does not refresh the source.
05Where can I find the injury report for a past date?+
Published daily pages will be linked from the monthly archive. The archive contains dated coverage pages with their missing-data states labeled. The available historical example is the dated March 27 sample page, which contains five selected rows rather than a complete day of league coverage. It should not be treated as yesterday's report.
What is available here.
This hub was prepared on October 2, 2026. The date records this explanatory page's review, not a new player-status check. The opening-night schedule and the historical sample have separate dates. Live ingestion, daily archive coverage and change tracking are not connected. Missing counts remain unknown instead of being converted into zero.

Check the report. Then check the five.
Availability and selection are different decisions. After checking a report's game date, status and source time, use the lineup hub to understand what makes a starting five Projected or Confirmed. Keep both labels visible when comparing players, and return to the relevant matchup rather than carrying an archived status into a future game.
