What happened
Minnesota opened the season with a 131-106 win over Miami, and Anthony Edwards led the way with 45 points and 10 rebounds.
The recap also noted Rudy Gobert's five points and Trey Lyles' 13-minute, one-point outing, with the latter framed as needing more to keep his rotation spot.
LINEUP CONTEXT
If Lyles stays quiet, Minnesota may trim his minutes and lean more on other forwards while Gobert's scoring remains a separate concern.
