What happened
Washington listed Jamir Watkins and Tristan Vukcevic as out, while Khris Middleton and Alex Sarr are day-to-day; the preview says Sarr is trending toward a return.
The Wizards are 1-0 in the preseason after beating the Knicks yesterday, and they host Detroit on Saturday night.
LINEUP CONTEXT
Those absences leave Washington’s preseason rotation fluid, and Sarr’s status could change frontcourt usage if he is cleared. Middleton remains uncertain, so the Wizards still may need to adjust available wing and big-man minutes.
