What happened
Washington’s final preseason game is Friday in New Orleans, and the injury report lists Anthony Davis and Khris Middleton as questionable for rest while Jamir Watkins (knee) and Tristan Vukcevic (hip) are out.
The preview says both teams are likely to use deeper bench pieces in the finale as they prepare for final roster cuts before the regular season begins next week.
This should open more minutes for end-of-roster players, while the rest tags leave the Wizards’ closing preseason rotation uncertain until game time.
