The Wizards announced Saturday that they signed guard Reece Beekman to a two-way contract, adding him to their group of two-way players. Beekman, 24, went undrafted in 2024 after four seasons at Virginia and has also spent time with Golden State, Brooklyn and the Osceola Magic.
Washington said Beekman impressed during Summer League in July, including a 13-point, 15-assist outing against Atlanta's Summer League team. The move came after he first joined the Wizards on an Exhibit-10 deal and training camp invite before converting to the two-way spot.
This gives Washington another developmental guard option and completes its two-way group for the 2026-27 roster. It does not clarify whether Beekman will be with the NBA club or the Go-Go to start the season.
