What happened
Washington signed guard Alondes Williams to an Exhibit-10 contract on Sunday and waived forward-center Skal Labissiere in a corresponding move. The team said the deal does not count against the 15-man roster.
Williams can join training camp while Washington keeps his G League rights, and the 27-year-old has used up his two-way eligibility. The article says he is likely to land with the Capital City Go-Go after camp.
This trims the camp roster and opens one frontcourt spot, but it does not confirm any opening-night rotation change. Williams is a training-camp add, so his immediate NBA role remains uncertain.
