What happened
Golden State opens at Los Angeles with Brandin Podziemski ruled out for lower-back soreness, Charles Bassey questionable, and Stephen Curry probable after a right ankle sprain.
Jimmy Butler and Moses Moody remain sidelined, Kristaps Porziņģis is not traveling, and the Warriors could have only 10 healthy standard-contract players if Bassey sits.
LINEUP CONTEXT
Those absences could force Golden State into a thinner rotation and more small-ball looks, while Bassey’s status still determines how much frontcourt cover remains.
