What happened
Golden State has checked with Chicago, New Orleans and Milwaukee about a possible Porzingis deal, with the inquiry focused on his contract rather than immediate on-court fit.
Siegel says the Bulls have so far resisted moving Jalen Smith, while the Warriors are considering ways to add him without giving up much draft capital.
LINEUP CONTEXT
If Golden State lands Smith or another big, it could change frontcourt minutes; otherwise, the trade talks only clarify deadline flexibility.
