What happened
Golden State waived Miles Kelly on Sunday, days after he led the team with 28 points in a preseason loss to Portland and scored 8-for-15 from deep across three exhibition games.
The Warriors filled the roster spot by signing Tyler Burton to a non-guaranteed Exhibit 10 deal, and the club is seeking extra wing depth with Jimmy Butler and Moses Moody out early in the season.
This keeps Golden State’s wing rotation fluid in preseason, and Burton’s deal can be converted later while Kelly’s release leaves his camp performance without a roster guarantee.
