What happened
Karl-Anthony Towns again was slowed by foul trouble in Tuesday’s 106-100 opening loss to Philadelphia, leaving him with only 23 minutes and six first-half minutes.
After practice Thursday, Mike Brown said Towns must avoid cheap offensive fouls, while Towns said he needs to do a better job staying available for the team.
LINEUP CONTEXT
If the problem continues, New York may need to lean on Andre Drummond earlier and longer, which can strain the backup center rotation.
