What happened
Phoenix coach Jordan Ott said Oso Ighodaro will miss Saturday’s game against Golden State after being diagnosed with an oblique strain, and he exited Wednesday’s opener early without returning.
With Mark Williams already expected to miss time after shoulder surgery, the Suns’ current center group is Khaman Maluach plus two-way players Duop Reath and Drew Timme, with one open roster spot available.
Phoenix may need to lean on Maluach, Reath, and Timme again unless the club uses its open roster spot to add another center.
