What happened
Phoenix opens its preseason home schedule against San Antonio after two road exhibitions, and Jordan Ott said the focus remains on sorting out combinations and trust.
Ott said Miles Bridges’ ankle X-ray was negative, but his availability is still unclear, while Phoenix continues to weigh center and rotation battles and may change the lineup based on the Spurs’ size.
Bridges’ status could change Phoenix’s wing group, and the Suns may keep experimenting with frontcourt and guard combinations in this preseason game. The main unknown is whether Ott rests Bridges and how much he reveals about the rotation.
