What happened
Denver wing Julian Strawther suffered a left knee sprain in Wednesday’s preseason game at the Clippers, and an MRI the next day confirmed the injury with a six-week reevaluation planned.
The team now expects his 2026-27 debut sometime in December, leaving Denver without one of its perimeter shooters as the regular season begins.
LINEUP CONTEXT
Strawther’s absence trims Denver’s wing depth and three-point support early in the year. His minutes and the Nuggets’ bench spacing remain unsettled until he is re-evaluated.
