What happened
San Antonio brings a seven-game win streak into Friday’s matchup, while Portland remains one of the league’s hottest teams after their recent surge, and the clubs meet for the first time since last season’s playoff series.
Both teams are playing the second night of a back-to-back, and Portland’s offense is built around paint touches, kick-out threes, and Damian Lillard’s return from Achilles recovery.
Short rest could affect rotation choices, but the injury reports were still pending, so final availability remains unknown.
