What happened
Houston’s third and final preseason game comes against Oklahoma City, which is already playing its fifth exhibition, and the Rockets sound close to settling their regular-season rotation.
Marcus Smart and Bogdan Bogdanovic are expected to factor into Houston’s minutes, while OKC is still folding rookies Aday Mara and Bennett Stirtz into the mix and Nikola Topic has missed all of preseason with a back injury.
Houston’s lineup decisions look mostly narrowed, so these minutes should clarify roles more than open new battles. Oklahoma City still has more to sort out, especially with Topic unavailable so far.
