What happened
Houston played Monday without Marcus Smart and Steven Adams, and the article says Smart’s absence may be shorter while Adams could miss about another week.
Fred VanVleet returned and sent Reed Sheppard back to the bench, while the Rockets beat Atlanta 120-110 to move to 4-0.
LINEUP CONTEXT
Smart’s status could affect Houston’s backcourt rotation Wednesday, while Adams remaining out would keep the frontcourt minutes distribution uncertain.
