What happened
Austin Reaves returned and the Lakers beat Sacramento 114-110 in preseason, with Luka Dončić scoring 23 points in 25 minutes and Sandro Mamukelashvili adding 19 off the bench.
Los Angeles built its biggest cushion with its starters and regular rotation players, then finished with an ultra-small fourth-quarter group as the game featured 50 turnovers and a late Kings push.
Reaves' return and bench scoring from Mamukelashvili and LaRavia point to deeper preseason options for Los Angeles. The closing lineup was a preseason look only, so it should not be treated as a regular-season rotation clue.
