What happened
Brooklyn traded for Julius Randle this summer after nearly landing him in 2019, when sources said the team would have pursued him if Durant had passed.
He answered Saturday with 23 points, six rebounds and five assists in Cleveland, and joined James Harden as the only Nets with consecutive 20-5-5 starts.
LINEUP CONTEXT
Randle’s production gives Brooklyn a clearer scoring baseline, while Fernández’s noncommittal comments leave the Dëmin-Brown pairing and Brown’s minutes cap unresolved.
