The preview says Minnesota will give fans a first look at a reworked roster after acquiring LaMelo Ball, but it cautions that preseason minutes may be brief because both teams are still experimenting with rotations.
Detroit also has uncertainty around Jalen Duren after he missed the first two preseason games and Cade Cunningham after sitting out the last one, with the piece saying Daniss Jenkins and Paul Reed would likely start if both are unavailable.
If Duren or Cunningham sit again, Detroit could lean on reserves for handling and frontcourt minutes. Minnesota’s new mix also leaves tonight’s rotation and on-court combinations unsettled.
