What happened
Toronto rested its starters on the second night of a back-to-back, and Detroit kept the preseason finale close before pulling ahead late.
Ebuka Okorie scored 14 points in nine minutes on 4-for-4 shooting, and Cade Cunningham added 18 points and seven assists in the Pistons' 129-125 win, which left Detroit 3-1 in exhibition play.
Toronto’s rest limits how much this game can say about its regular rotation. Detroit now turns to the opener against Boston on Tuesday, where the first real lineup decisions will matter more.
