What happened
The Nets arrived in Indiana still winless in the East, with Jordi Fernández saying he cannot force Julius Randle and Michael Porter Jr. outside their comfort zones as leaders.
Egor Dëmin and Mikel Brown Jr. were ruled out Sunday with a right leg bone bruise and back injury management, while Randle and Porter acknowledged the group’s poor response to adversity.
Those absences leave the Nets with less guard depth, while the team still needs steadier communication and quicker in-game adjustments from its veteran core.
