What happened
Brooklyn opened its preseason game against Philadelphia with Egor Dëmin, Keon Ellis, Noah Clowney, Julius Randle, and Mo Wagner in the starting five, while Michael Porter Jr. and Day'Ron Sharpe sat out.
Mikel Brown Jr. was still sidelined with a rolled ankle, and the Nets later announced an Exhibit 10 signing for guard Dion Brown, who is expected to end up in Long Island.
With Porter Jr. and Sharpe out, Brooklyn’s early preseason frontcourt and rim-protection rotation remains unsettled. Brown’s signing adds another camp guard, but the article does not confirm any immediate regular-season role.
