What happened
Dallas fell 122-106 to San Antonio in its home opener, with Kyrie Irving held out for injury management and Cooper Flagg sidelined again after Friday's injury.
Rookie Sergio de Larrea scored 21 points off the bench, while Daniel Gafford left briefly after a knee collision and later returned before foul trouble.
LINEUP CONTEXT
Dallas' rotation remains fluid if Irving and Flagg sit again, and Gafford's knee scare could further thin the frontcourt.
