What happened
The Lakers host Denver on Friday in their final preseason game, and the article says it could be the first chance to see Luka Dončić, Austin Reaves and Walker Kessler share the floor after Kessler’s debut Tuesday.
Quentin Grimes said the last two starting spots are still undecided, while Denver’s own preseason finale could feature another brief dress rehearsal after Nikola Jokić, Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon played limited minutes in the previous game.
Friday should offer the clearest look yet at Los Angeles’ rotation shape, especially who joins Dončić, Reaves and Kessler. Denver’s willingness to play its regulars will also affect how long either team keeps its core group on the floor.
