Kyle Anderson said he does not want to force his veteran style on Toronto’s younger players, but he expects to help as a mentor on the Raptors.
He also said coach Darko Rajaković discussed using him at center or as a ball handler, and Anderson noted Toronto’s center depth issues could create those looks.
That makes Anderson a possible small-ball option behind Toronto’s true centers, especially when the team wants more defense and passing. His exact role is still unsettled, so preseason usage will be worth watching.
