A quick read on what changed — and what it means for the rotation.

What happened

Kings center Maxime Raynaud will miss at least two weeks after an MRI showed a right patellar subluxation, and Sacramento said he will be re-evaluated in about two weeks.

He left Sunday’s preseason loss to Golden State in the second quarter after contact to the outside of his right knee, then was taken to the locker room in a wheelchair.

LINEUP CONTEXT

Raynaud’s absence creates early frontcourt minutes for other Kings bigs while the team waits for his Oct. 25 recheck. Sacramento will have to cover a rotation spot during the start of the regular season.
