Steve Kerr told reporters after Thursday’s practice that fans buying Warriors tickets should check the schedule carefully, because a ticket to a Golden State game is not the same as a ticket to see Steph Curry. He said the team will manage multiple veterans this season.
Golden State has 15 back-to-backs, and Kerr said Curry will be handled differently this year as the club tries to keep him fresh across an 82-game season. He also said Curry is not yet where he wants to be, though he is on track before Opening Night.
This points to frequent rest nights for Curry and other veterans, so opponents and fantasy-style lineup expectations should stay fluid. The team has not locked in specific back-to-back absences, so availability still depends on game-to-game management.
