What happened
Philadelphia lost Ariel Hukporti for the season after an Achilles tear, a setback that came just hours before the team’s opener.
The article says the Sixers will reportedly cover Embiid’s backup minutes with Adem Bona, Jabari Walker, Dominic Barlow and possibly Tacko Fall.
This matters because Philadelphia’s second-unit center rotation is now unsettled right before the season starts. The team can still mix in small-ball looks, but its depth behind Embiid is less certain.
