What happened
Tyrese Haliburton will miss time with a hamstring strain, and Rick Carlisle said he is meeting with a hamstring expert, team doctors and officials Wednesday afternoon.
After returning from last season’s Achilles tear, the All-Star guard has averaged 21.8 points and 9.5 assists through Indiana’s first four games before this setback.
Indiana is short-handed for Wednesday’s game, and Haliburton’s absence could push more offense toward Siakam while the team’s guard rotation stays unsettled.
