V.J. Edgecombe joined Jaylen Brown on a Twitch stream on Oct. 9, one day before Philadelphia’s preseason game with Boston, after Brown had said several teammates wanted to appear and that the team had been “vibing” smoothly.
Their conversation covered Edgecombe’s background and family, giving the two a chance to connect away from the practice floor as Brown said he is using the stream to build chemistry before the Sixers open the regular season on Oct. 20.
This does not confirm any lineup spot or minute load, but it suggests Brown and Edgecombe are getting extra chemistry reps off the court. That could matter if Philadelphia keeps mixing wing combinations before the season opener.
