What happened
Detroit will be without All-Star center Jalen Duren for at least two weeks after a right hamstring strain, and Ausar Thompson and Isaiah Joe also appear uncertain for Tuesday.
Paul Reed is expected to absorb more center minutes while Duren sits, and the matchup comes at the end of Detroit’s three-game trip on a back-to-back.
If Thompson and Joe are also sidelined, Detroit’s rotation could tighten further and Reed’s frontcourt role should expand, but their status is still unresolved.
