What happened
Luka Doncic repeatedly created lanes on opening night, and Walker Kessler converted the looks into rim finishes in the Lakers' win over Golden State.
Kessler scored 24 points on perfect shooting and had 10 dunks in his Lakers debut, while the shorthanded Warriors frontcourt offered a limited test.
LINEUP CONTEXT
If this chemistry holds, Los Angeles can keep Kessler central to its offense, though the matchup was still an early-season sample.
