What happened
Cooper Flagg left Friday’s game in Indianapolis after a hard foul on a breakaway dunk attempt caused a left shoulder injury and visible pain.
Dallas later ruled him out for the rest of the night after the reviewed play was upgraded to a flagrant 1, and Flagg finished with 14 points in 17 minutes.

If Flagg misses additional time, Dallas may need to adjust its early-season usage around him, though the article gives no timetable beyond the game-time exit.
