What happened
Chicago said Zach Collins, Tobe Awaka and Isaac Okoro were held out of practice and are not expected to face Milwaukee, while Jaylin Sellers also missed Sunday and Nic Claxton will be re-evaluated next week after a hamstring injury.
Milwaukee said Nate Ament will be re-evaluated just before the season opener, and the team also announced Brayden Burries would not play against Charlotte as Taylor Jenkins said the Bucks are still trying different rotations and lineups.
These absences and re-evaluation timelines leave both teams with unsettled preseason rotation spots. Milwaukee’s ongoing lineup testing means bench roles remain fluid heading into the next game.
