What happened
Minnesota closes its preseason schedule in Chicago, and Chris Finch is expected to keep leaning on his starters after gradually lengthening their minutes in recent games.
Chicago's presumed starting center Nic Claxton has missed all preseason with a hamstring injury, so the Bulls are looking at Jalen Smith at center in the finale.
Claxton's absence likely keeps Chicago's frontcourt rotation in flux and gives Smith another game in the middle. Minnesota's starter usage still may not mirror a regular-season lineup because this is the preseason finale.
