What happened
Without Joel Embiid and LeBron James, Philadelphia opened with Adem Bona and Jaylen Brown and used a 10-man rotation on the second night of a back-to-back.
Tyrese Maxey scored 38 points, and VJ Edgecombe hit the late go-ahead three as the Sixers beat Charlotte 109-104 before facing Chicago Monday.
LINEUP CONTEXT
Bona’s start and the smaller rotation suggest Embiid’s absence is still reshaping frontcourt minutes, while Brown’s availability keeps wing usage fluid.
