What happened
Alex Caruso sprained his right ankle in the second quarter Monday against Phoenix and exited after the play, finishing with nine points in nine minutes before being ruled out.
The injury comes as Oklahoma City already had serious perimeter absences, with Jalen Williams and Cason Wallace both expected to need surgery and miss significant time.
Caruso’s absence could further thin Oklahoma City’s wing rotation, and the team may need more minutes from remaining guards if he misses additional games.
